Panthers QB Will Grier completed 11-of-14 passes for 144 yards, including one carry for two yards in Saturday’s preseason defeat to Baltimore.
Fantasy Impact: Grier had a stellar outing despite the 17-point loss to the Ravens. Up until tonight, it appeared as if P.J. Walker had the second-string job locked up, yet he went just 1-of-8 for eight yards after taking over for Grier in the third frame. Whoever performs better in the preseason finale versus Pittsburgh may ultimately enter the season as the No. 2 QB. Regardless, the Panthers are expected to lean heavily on Christian McCaffrey, in what should be another long year in their rebuild phase.
