According to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, veteran TE Zach Ertz has been cleared for full football activity and is expected to be ready to start Week 1.
Fantasy Impact: Ertz tore his ACL and MCL in Week 10 of last season after starting off the year strong. He finished 2022 with 47 catches for 406 yards and four touchdowns in less than 10 games. The worry is how Ertz, who is almost 33, will be able to perform physically after two major ligament tears, but he will immediately have a role with the team. Second-year TE Trey McBride got the starter treatment in the preseason opener, being rested, but he may be relegated to TE2 duties.
