It’s a cliche by now, but playing the fantasy football matchups are still key in having success each week. Here are the ones to know about in Week 13.
With the last week of regular season fantasy football finally here, some are looking for that last win to make or break their season. Here’s the outlook on this week’s matchups.

Quarterback
Lamar Jackson (BAL at Falcons, 22.7 F.P.P.G.)
With Lamar Jackson slated to make another start this week, he gets an interesting matchup facing a Falcons defense that gives up the second most fantasy points to opposing QB’s. Jackson’s floor also remains high because of his rushing production.
Verdict: Start as high-end QB2
Matt Ryan (ATL vs Ravens, 14.4 F.P.P.G.)
Matt Ryan has been a phenomenal fantasy quarterback this season and currently leads the NFL in passing yards. With that being said he gets a tough matchup against a stout Baltimore passing defense.
Verdict: Downgraded to a QB2.
Tom Brady (NE vs Vikings, 15.9 F.P.P.G.)
Tom Brady has not performed to his name as a fantasy quarterback this season. With the Vikings being a top-10 defense against fantasy QB’s this season, I don’t see Brady having his way with Minnesota.
Verdict: Downgraded to a QB2.
Running Back
James White (NE vs Vikings 15.2 F.P.P.G.)
James White is coming off of two lackluster fantasy performances. With Sony Michel back to running the ball efficiently and the return of Rex Burkhead from IR, White’s outlook for the rest of the season looks a bit cloudy.
Verdict: Start as low-end RB2.
Gus Edwards (BAL at Falcons, 24.0 F.P.P.G.)
Since Lamar Jackson has led this Ravens offense, him and Gus Edwards have been fantastic on the ground. With a matchup against the generous Atlanta defense, Edwards has an opportunity to surpass his projection, as long as he’s healthy enough.
Verdict: Start as solid RB2.
Wide Receiver
Tyler Boyd (CIN vs Broncos, 24.4 F.P.P.G.)
The Bengals offense continues to struggle and with the change in quarterback, there is a right to be worried about Tyler Boyd’s production this week against a motivated Broncos defense.
Verdict: Downgraded to fringe WR2/WR3.
Jarvis Landry (CLE at Texans, 19.4 F.P.P.G.)
Jarvis Landry has been rather disappointing these past few weeks. The Texans have been very solid against wide receivers so another tough week awaits Landry owners.
Verdict: Downgraded to fringe WR2/WR3.
Tight End
Cameron Brate (TB vs Panthers, 11.6 F.P.P.G.)
Cameron Brate is a favorable target for Jameis Winston when it comes to the redzone. With O.J. Howard on IR, Brate remains a solid lock-in starter for the rest of the season.
Verdict: Start with confidence.
Trey Burton (CHI at Giants, 7.7 F.P.P.G.)
Trey Burton has been sort of boom or bust this season. With Chase Daniel slated to get the start again this week, the passing game will most likely be limited again this week.
