QB — Ben Roethlisberger ($8,600, NE @ PIT, Proj. Own: 21.2%)
“The Pittsburgh Steelers will host their rival, the New England Patriots, this week in what should be another classic between the two AFC powerhouses. The Steelers come into this game in desperate need of a win after losing three straight games in embarrassing fashion. Given the circumstances, I expect the offense to rely heavily on Ben Roethlisberger to throw it all game and get them the W.” — Elliott Berk.
RB — Dalvin Cook ($6,200, MIA @ MIN, Proj. Own: 23.1%)
“In the last three weeks Dalvin Cook has scored his three highest point totals of the season. The skilled back is averaging 15.5 FanDuel points per game during that stretch by being involved heavily on the ground in addition to catching 16 passes. The 29th ranked rush defense of the Miami Dolphins visits on Sunday and the Vikings will likely try to establish the ground game early to take some pressure off of struggling quarterback, Kirk Cousins. Cook should be involved throughout the game, getting 15+ touches to help produce a solid fantasy stat line.” — Joshua Mutters.
RB — Jaylen Samuels — ($5,500, NE @ PIT, Proj. Own: 29.5%)
“With James Conner (knee) injured, Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jaylen Samuels led his team’s backfield in Week 14, handling 18 of 23 running back touches against the Oakland Raiders. Provided Conner is ruled out again in Week 15, look for Samuels to lead the way against the New England Patriots. The Patriots have struggled to contain opposing running backs this season, ranking 21st in run defense DVOA and allowing the 16th-most fantasy points per game to the position. Treat Samuels as a high-end RB2.” — RotoBaller
WR — Antonio Brown — ($8,600, NE @ PIT, Proj. Own: 25.6%)
“Last week I suggested stacking JuJu Smith-Schuster with Ben because he had a particularly good matchup against the Raiders, but this week I’d go back to the veteran superstar Antonio Brown. In Brown’s 5 career games against the Patriots, he’s had either 100 yards or a TD in 4 of the 5. When the Steelers play at home, AB is at his best, averaging over 23 fantasy points per game there this season. This game is going to turn into a shootout fast and I think Big Ben and Brown are going to light up the New England secondary, make sure they are in your lineups.” — Joshua Mutters.
WR — Amari Cooper — ($6,600, DAL @ IND, Proj. Own: 43%)
“Amari Cooper has 88.3 FanDuel points in his last three games, including 44.7 last week against Philadelphia. His price is still an absurd $2,000+ less than the top receivers this week as he visits the middle of the pack pass defense of the Colts. He has looked the part of a true number one receiver since arriving in Dallas and another huge performance will likely put this incredibly low-price tag through the roof. Take the value while it is still there.” — Joshua Mutters.
WR — Allen Robinson — ($6,500, GB @ CHI, Proj. Own: 6%)
“Though he’s been in a bit of a slump lately, you should know that Allen Robinson has faced a top-13 defense — in terms of wide receiver points allowed — in four straight weeks. He has also been targeted 7+ times in four of his last five, so it isn’t as though he’s being phased out of the offense. A home date with the Packers, who rank 29th against wide receivers, could be just what Robinson needs to get right.” — Paul Patterson.
TE — Rob Gronkowski — ($6,900, NE @ PIT, Proj. Own: 13.5%)
“In the last three weeks Gronk has scored a pair of touchdowns, averaged 13.5 yards per reception, 68.6 yards per game and is hauling in over 70% of his targets. It gets better: in the 6 games Gronk has faced the Steelers, he has 39 receptions for 664 yards and 8 touchdowns. Moreover, his 110.6 yards per game against the Steelers are the highest he has had against any team he’s opposed more than once. But wait, there’s more! The Steelers also give up 15.4 points per game to the tight end position, the 5th worst in the NFL. Enough with the numbers, take my word for it, Gronk shows up big this weekend.” — Michael Palmer.
FLEX — Julian Edelman ($7,700, NE @ PIT, Proj. Own: 13.8%)
“New England Patriot wide receiver Julian Edelman will have plenty of PPR-value in Week 15 against the Steelers. Pittsburgh’s defense is allowing the 14th fewest fantasy points to opposing receivers this season but Edelman has been a consistent presence since returning from his suspension. He has 56 receptions in nine games played this season and should be active in this pivotal matchup. The Steelers have allowed only three touchdowns to receivers since Week 9 but Edelman should still have plenty of fantasy appeal, especially in PPR-leagues for Week 15.” — RotoBaller
DEF — Vikings ($3,900, MIA @ MIN, Proj. Own: 22.7%)
“The Dolphins are coming into this game off of one of the most improbable wins of the season. Their 29th ranked offense will be met with the NFL’s 5th ranked defense of the Minnesota Vikings. The last time the Vikings faced a low-ranking offense at home they put up 22 FanDuel points against the Lions. This is a great opportunity to grab one of the league’s top defenses priced in the middle of the pack.”– Joshua Mutters.
