Chicago Bears HC Matt Nagy says that RB Tarik Cohen is “weeks away,” not “days away” from returning to practice as he is still recovering from tearing his ACL last season, per Mark Grote of WSCR Radio.
Fantasy Impact: Cohen was expected to be healthier at this point in his recovery, but the process has been slow. Nagy added that there is no guarantee that he will be thrown into punt returning duties when he returns. Cohen isn’t likely to be drafted in most leagues, but this gives RB David Montgomery a chance to prove himself as an every-down back. Cohen will have to earn back his time on the field as he returns from injury.
