This isn’t a list of the best players for Week 11, but our FanDuel value plays will give you the best bang for your buck.
FanDuel Dollar Menu – Weekly Value Picks
Alright, alright, you got me, none of these players actually cost a dollar. What they are is a list of players that provide excellent value for you each week in FanDuel contests. You know, the same way that the dollar menu at your favorite fast food restaurant provides you with a meal that may not be gourmet but it fills you up without breaking the bank. Again, this is not a list of the best players each week, this is a list of the players that offer the best bang for your buck.
With that being said, these are my FanDuel value plays for Week 11.
[Week 11 Fantasy Football Analysis: See rankings, player to add, players to drop, sleepers, busts and more.]
QB: Carson Wentz ($7,700, PHI @ NO)
Carson Wentz has been a very consistent fantasy QB this season. He has passed for 300+ yards in four of seven contests and has scored 20+ FanDuel points in five of seven. He and the Eagles will travel to New Orleans this week to face the 31st ranked pass defense of the Saints in what will likely be a high scoring game. He should be more comfortable with new target, Golden Tate, and should add to his number of 20+ point games this week.
Additional Value Pick: Dak Prescott ($6,700, DAL @ ATL) has 20+ FanDuel points in three of his last four games. This week he and the rejuvenated Cowboys offense travel to Atlanta where they will see the lackluster 30th ranked defense of the Falcons. Dak and the offense should produce well in Atlanta.
RB: Alex Collins ($6,000, CIN @ BAL)
Uncertainty at the quarterback position due to a Joe Flacco injury should force the Ravens to lean on the run game this weekend. Whether the starter is Flacco, Jackson, or Griffin, Alex Collins should be the offensive workhorse. Collins is averaging a trip to the end zone per game over the last four weeks and after taking on the last ranked defense of the Bengals this week, that average could very well rise. The Bengals have struggled to stop anyone this season allowing opposing rushers an average of 141 yards per game and a total of 11 TD’s on the year.
RB: Doug Martin ($6,200, OAK @ ARI)
The Raiders have been a complete train wreck all season and that continued in week 10. Doug Martin was the silver lining of the week 10 black cloud that was the Raiders. At times he looked like the vintage “Muscle Hamster” on his way to 92 all purpose yards and 10.7 FanDuel Points. This week he visits the 29th rush defense of the Arizona Cardinals who have surrendered 140 yards per game and 13 TD’s on the ground this year. They were gashed by backups Mike Davis and Latavius Murray this season, giving Martin hope for a big performance.
Additional Value Pick: Phillip Lindsay ($6,400 DEN @ LAC) is averaging over 12 F.P.P.G. this season and has been a consistent producer throughout. He and the Broncos will look to keep pace with Philip Rivers and the Chargers offense in week 11. The Chargers defense will be without dynamic linebacker Denzel Perryman for the remainder of the season which opens the door for Lindsay to have a very productive day on the ground and through the air.
WR: Amari Cooper ($6,600, DAL @ ATL)
Since his arrival in Dallas, Amari Cooper has seemed to energize the Cowboys offense. He has 18 targets in his first two games which have allowed him to churn out 24.8 FanDuel points. As the rapport grows with Dak Prescott, those numbers could continue to increase. This week he visits the 30th ranked pass defense of the Atlanta Falcons, which receivers have feasted on all year. The targets should continue for Cooper and he could potentially have his biggest game as a Cowboy.
WR: Demaryius Thomas ($5,800, HOU @ WAS)
Demaryius Thomas caught three passes on three targets for 61 yards in his first game as a Texan. That was a very short, hectic week for Thomas following the trade and he went out and produced. Following the week 10 bye, Thomas should have a much better grasp of the Houston offense and should be involved in the game plan. The Redskins defense has struggled at times against the pass this season and has allowed four players to surpass 100 yards receiving in the last three weeks. Thomas is currently priced well below his value and is a steal this week.
Additional Value Pick: Corey Davis ($6,200, TEN @ IND) had a huge day against the Patriots last week. He caught seven passes for 125 yards and a TD and this week he faces a Colts defense that just allowed 98 yards and a TD to Donte Moncrief. Davis has received 10 targets in each of the last two games and this trend should continue.
TE: Jared Cook ($5,500, OAK @ ARI)
The Raiders stink, but they still have to go out and play on Sundays. The receiving corps is in shambles leaving Jared Cook as the best option for Derek Carr to throw to. Cook has mostly been boom or bust this season but with the lack of talent left at receiver he should get plenty of opportunities to show out this weekend in Arizona.
Additional Value Pick: Gerald Everett ($4,800, KC @ LAR) is averaging three targets per game over the last six weeks and has scored 8+ FanDuel points in each of the last two games. Cooper Kupp is now on IR and someone needs to fill the void he will leave. Everett is a perfect candidate to take on some of Kupp’s targets which will help his fantasy production. Priced at $4,800 he is worth a look if you need someone with a low price tag.
DEF: Cardinals ($4,000 vs OAK)
The Cardinals held the Chiefs to 26 points in week 10, which is their lowest point total of the season. This week they host what is left of the Oakland Raiders. The Cardinals have had four or more sacks in four of their last five games. They will continue to get after the quarterback this week against the struggling Raiders.
Additional Value Pick: Steelers ($3,800 @JAC) The Steelers travel to Jacksonville to take on the dysfunctional Jaguars this week. The Jaguars offense and quarterback Blake Bortles have been atrocious this season and the defense seems to have gotten run down trying to carry the team. The Steelers will likely be playing with the lead in this one forcing the Jaguars to pass, resulting is sacks and turnovers.
