Week 14 DraftKings presents us with a load of great matchups to take advantage of. Last Week, we were able to do so McCown and Anderson, Rivers and Allen, Lynch, and Julius Thomas. With the playoff hunt coming to a close, playoff-contention teams are going to feed their best players even more than before. With all of that being said, let’s hop into the picks
STACKS that I like this week
Brett Hundley and Davante Adams (GB)
Adams and Hundley both underperformed last week. They just couldn’t seem to capitalize off of the great matchup that was presented to them. This week will be a completely different story. The Browns have quietly been very good against the run while struggling mightily against the pass. Adams will see upwards of 10 targets in this game for sure.
Alex Smith and Tyreek Hill (KC)
Coming off their best games in their respective careers, Smith and Hill have proven that they have a sensational connection. Look for Hill to demolish a sluggish-looking secondary this week.
QB’s that I like
Tom Savage (HOU)
The only thing savage about Tom is his matchup. He gets a 49ers defense that has struggled against the pass all year long. I think that this play will go under looked and could possibly win some GPPs.
Projection: 250yd 2td
Matthew Stafford (DET)
Stafford’s matchup gives him the blow-up potential that the DraftKings gurus love to see. The Bucs have been below average when it comes to defending the pass. I like a Marvin Jones stack as well.
Projection: 300yd 2td
RB’s that I like
Kenyan Drake (MIA) Monday Night*
Coming off of, by far, the best game of his career, Drake gets an even better matchup this week. The Dolphins are known to keep the Pats honest, and I believe that they will do so through Drake.
Projection: 90 total yds 1td
Giovani Bernard (CIN)
He’s $3100 and starting with absolutely no competition. He’s a pass-catching threat and is incredibly dangerous in open space.
Projection: 80 total yds 6 rec
Lamar Miller (HOU)
It’s Miller time! He gets the matchup of dreams this week. Alfred Blue, his backup, is also out this game, so Miller will get at least 15 touches against a porous 49ers defense.
Projection: 70 total yd 4 rec 1td
WR’s that I like this week
Josh Gordon (CLE)
He looked great last week against a very good pass defense. This week he’s on the road where his team is expected to be in passing mode.
10 targets 7 rec 84 yd
Trent Taylor (49ers)
The 49ers will need to pass the ball this week. Jimmy G made Taylor a fantasy relevant option last week and I don’t see why he can’t do it again.
5 rec 82 yd 1td
TE’s that I like
Travis Kelce (KC)
His matchup is too good to fade. He is coming off of possibly the best game in his career.
100yd 1td
Cameron Brate (TB)
With Winston back as the team’s QB, Brate excelled in his first game back. Look for him to have another solid performance this week.
5 rec 55yd 1td
DST’s that I like
Cincinnati
They get a matchup with Jordan Howard this week. The Bengals shoudn’t have any problem keeping him in check.
Projection: 12 pts
Green Bay
I understand that Cleveland is at home this week, but Cleveland, well, stinks. The Packers defense is a sneaky play that will win a lot of fantasy matchups this week.
Projection: 18 pts
