Sweatpants. Oh boy, is there a better feeling than coming home and shedding your work clothes for your favorite pair? For women, I can only assume it’s the feeling of taking your bra off and getting into casual mode. So let your hair down, and let me show you some ways to keep it casual on Draft Kings.

Playing people on your level is crucial when betting money. You wouldn’t want your first time playing poker in The World Series of Poker. Casually playing with friends and acquaintances in a buddy’s basement is always fun. Little buy-ins with decent returns against people closer to your skill level. The entries are limited, the fees are reasonable, and you have a higher chance of return.
Let’s recap last week’s pics:
1) Derek Carr QB, LV $6,200 – 18.8% ownership and a return of 18.98 fantasy points. Derek Carr brought the numbers projected and nothing more. This is like watching a Mustang drive like an Elantra, efficient, but we want to see the power.
2) Chase Edmonds RB, MIA $5,200 – 5.4% ownership and only 5.10 fantasy points. This was a game I thought the Fins would slow time down and run it. Tua is now the league leader in passing yards instead. This was my only bad call for the week.
3) Allen Robinson WR, LAR $5,500 – Back breaking officiating call that took his second TD away. 6.8% ownership and a return of 15.30 points for cheap.
4) Courtland Sutton WR, DEN $6,100 – 22.70 fantasy points at only 8.6% ownership. This was a fantastic fit in your lineup for a great return.
5) Mark Andrews TE, BAL $6,800 – The TE king sits upon his throne with his 28.70 fantasy points, and only 9.2% of bettors went along for the ride.
6) Lions DST, DET $2,600 – 1.2% of us put our faith in Dan Campbell and the Lions DST. We got a great stat line of 5 sacks, 1 INT, and a safety. Beautifully orchestrated win and 9 points out of a cheap pick.
Now let’s have a look at this week’s selections.
Week 3 DraftKings Plays
1) Joe Burrow QB, CIN $6,600 – Joey Franchise faces an average Jets defense and can claim his first W of the season. With all his weapons healthy, this is the perfect get-right match. Burrow is still 2nd in passing attempts, and the Jets are susceptible to the run. With a balanced attack, RB Mixon also makes for an excellent stack.
2) Josh Jacobs RB, LV $5,400 – Nobody allows more points to RBs than the Titans. The Raiders need to run the ball and control the game. Jacobs touched the ball 20 times last game, and that volume for this price tag is the perfect pairing. Let him be Hannibal Lecter and eat the defense up like its liver and fava beans with a nice Chianti.
3) David Montgomery RB, CHI $5,900 – Another value play against a defense that gives fantasy points away like it’s charity. The Bears are struggling with their passing game right now and will lean on the ground attack to run the Texans over. Montgomery has 32 carries on the season and just tore up a stout Packers defense with an efficient 122 yards on 15 carries.
4) Stefon Diggs WR, BUF $7,700 – 34.3% target share is all we need to know. Diggs has been targeted 24 times this season, giving an average of 12 per game. The Bills are hot right now, and the connection between QB Josh Allen and his favorite WR is too much to ignore. So pay the price and reap the rewards of Diggs, who has been targeted five times in the red zone and four times in the endzone.
5) Tyler Higbee TE, LAR $4,500 – Arizona gifts fantasy points to tight ends like Oprah giving away Toyota’s. Nobody has given up more points to the position, and no TE has been targeted more than Higbee. The offensive line is atrocious right now, and Stafford is getting the ball out quickly to his safety valve. Even with Cooper Kupp and Allen Robinson, Higbee holds a 26.3% target share.
6) Eagles DST, PHI $2,900 – Big play Slay. That’s it; that’s the write-up. What more do you want? This guy was Kirk Cousins’s best receiver last week. Insert Carson Wentz as just this year’s Ryan Fitzmagic meme here. Yes, he is throwing for a lot of yards, but he is also turning the ball over. The Eagles are ranked 10th against QBs and 13th against WRs for fantasy points. The longest play against them is 27 yards. Lock it in.
