Brett Rypien entered in relief of Russell Wilson on Sunday, completing 4-of-8 passes for 45 yards and one interception as the the Broncos fell to the Rams 51-14.
Fantasy Impact: In a not so merry finale for the team on Sunday, Rypien promptly threw a fourth quarter pick-six to put the final touch on Denver’s Christmas disaster. Russell Wilson was an atrocity on Sunday, putting the Broncos in a 44-14 hole prior to his merciful benching. Denver is set to take on Kansas City in Week 17 and it would not be in the team’s worst interests to possibly give Rypien the start- the bar is so painfully low that he may actually be the Broncos’ top option overall.
