Taysom Hill goes for 81 yards in preseason opener

Saints QB Taysom Hill completed eight of 12 pass attempts for 81 yards and one interception in Saturday’s loss to the Ravens.

Fantasy Impact: Hill started the game off hot completing four of his first five attempts with the only incompletion coming on a WR drop. The drive finished with RB Latavius Murray fumbling on the seven yard line. While it’s possible Hill would have capped the drive off with a touchdown, we will never know. On the next drive Hill targeted Ty Montgomery on a drag route that Montgomery stopped short on leading to an interception. Hill would play just one more drive before being relieved by Jameis Winston. Neither quarterback was able to pull ahead in the QB competition, they will each get another shot next Monday versus the Jaguars.
