This week will be very rough for fantasy owners due to the huge hit teams will be taking from the teams on bye. Take a look at the following fantasy starters that will not be available on Sunday:
- Josh Allen, Jalen Hurts, Kirk Cousins, Justin Jefferson, Cooper Kupp, Adam Thielen, Stefon Diggs, Gabriel Davis, AJ Brown, Miles Sanders, Dalvin Cook, Tyler Higbee
Clearly, the majority of your league will probably be testing the strength of their benches this week, but some may not have much strength there at all.
If I’m being honest, at first glance I was very unhappy with the waiver wire going into Week 7. However, as I looked deeper into the players, I found some surprisingly solid candidates. No longer worried about finding bye week subs, I present to you the (wide receiver-heavy) Week 7 Waiver Wire.
Note: Teams on bye include Bills, Eagles, Vikings, Rams

Week 7 Waiver Wire: Worth a Look (over 50% owned)
Brian Robinson Jr., WAS- RB (65%)
Following a miraculous recovery, Brian Robinson Jr. has returned to the Commanders and assumed an RB1 role. However, Robinson has not been very efficient with his volume and barely had a decent week because of a late-game touchdown.
Nevertheless, the upside for Robinson is clearly there, as is HC Ron Rivera’s trust in him. Robinson should be rostered in every league, but shouldn’t be starting quite yet.
Michael Gallup, DAL- WR (50%)
Dak Prescott will finally be back with the Cowboys following an impressive stint of Cooper Rush leading the team. Prescott’s presence should certainly uplift the Dallas offense as a whole, especially Michael Gallup. The chemistry between the two has existed in past seasons and this week will be the first time of the year they get to show it off.
After an underwhelming return to the field, Gallup remains unclaimed in half of fantasy leagues and has an upside through the roof.
Jared Goff, DET- QB (55%)
The Goofball has been reminiscent of his LA years so far this season, being a weekly boom-or-bust QB. Taking a chance on the boom might be the best option for many Allen or Hurts holders.
A matchup against Dallas won’t do Jared Goff any favors, especially following a shutout from the Patriots. At the end of the day, however, streamers might not have much of a choice, and Detroit still is one of the highest-scoring offenses this season.
Week 7 Waiver Wire
Josh Reynolds, DET- WR (33%)
You may recognize what I’m about to say from my words on Josh Reynolds in last week’s article. There is no reason not to trust Reynolds at this point.
With almost 30 targets in his last three games, Reynolds has been nothing less than consistent. Even in the Lions’ first bad offensive week of the season, Reynolds still produced almost 100 yards. Coming off of the Week 6 bye, Reynolds should be fresh to take on the Cowboys.
Alec Pierce, IND- WR (38%)
This should not be a surprise. We’ve seen situations like this before — WR2s that show better production when a better WR1 is ahead of them. If you don’t believe me, go compare JuJu Smith-Schuster’s numbers before and after Antonio Brown was on the Steelers.
Alec Pierce has really picked things up with big-time wideout Michael Pittman Jr. back from injury to distract the league’s top corners. With a very solid 210 yards in the last three weeks, Pierce is shaping up to be an underrated FLEX play with a high floor.
D’Onte Foreman, CAR- RB (5%)
This pick is a real flier. There has been trade buzz surrounding superstar RB Christian McCaffrey. If McCaffrey does indeed get traded, D’Onte Foreman should be the next man up.
Carolina has brought a lot of questions to the table the last couple of weeks, with no answers. Nothing is for certain about Foreman, but he may be worth a shot if a McCaffrey trade happens sooner rather than later.
Wan’Dale Robinson, NYG- WR (8%)
As a Giants fan, I am ecstatic to be able to put a Giant on the waiver wire for the first time in almost a year. Second-round pick Wan’Dale Robinson finally came back from injury, which resulted in a much lower snap count for other New York receivers, such as Richie James Jr. and David Sills V.
With Kenny Golladay and Kadarius Toney clearly unable to stay on the field, in addition to Sterling Shepard being out for the season, you can expect Robinson’s load to ramp up and watch him become the top wideout on the team.
Rondale Moore, ARI- WR (46%)
When looking at the current situation of the Cardinals WR core, a lot is going on, and at first glance, many are scuffling to pick up Robbie Anderson, but I’m gonna have to disagree on that one.
Yes, Hollywood Brown is going to miss significant time, if not the whole season, but you absolutely cannot ignore the fact that All-Pro receiver DeAndre Hopkins is returning and will fill the exact same shoes that Brown held.
Rondale Moore, on the other hand, has held his ground in the slot since he returned from injury. Following his Week 4 debut, the Cardinals ramped him up to his normal usage, which he has been nothing short of productive with. Hopefully, Moore will break the streak of unentertaining prime-time games and light up the stadium on TNF. Moore can be regarded as a low-end FLEX in 12-team PPR leagues.
